Symantec Rectifies Some 500K Botnet Infected Computers

Computer confidence researchers during Symantec has clean about 500,000 computers that were hacked and penetrated by a ZeroAccess botnet.

A botnet is a network of private computers that are putrescent with antagonistic program and tranquil as a group, but a user’s knowledge. These computers are hacked and tranquil by a few cyber criminals, who also emanate a malware used to taint these computers.

With some-more than 1.9 million putrescent computers, a ZeroAccess botnet is one of a largest networks in existence today, and is famous to beget money by dual illegal, revenue-generating activities – click rascal and bitcoin mining.

According to Symantec, a ZeroAccess botnet has a peer-to-peer design that allows computers to share files, send instructions and information to other computers or peers in a network.

The malware or trojan, once commissioned on a PC, downloads online advertisements and afterwards generates synthetic clicks, thereby profitable out dividends by pay-per-click associate schemes.

In June, a creators of a ZeroAccess botnet started distributing a new chronicle of a malware with modifications. These modifications done it formidable to destroy a network.
